Today, I started to learn about SEO and what SEO is and what it does to the website.

SEO (search engine optimization) is translated into Chinese as “search engine optimization”. My understanding of SEO is: on the basis of understanding the natural ranking mechanism of search engine, through internal and external adjustment and optimization of the website, to improve the natural ranking of keywords in search engine, so that the website can get more traffic, and then promote the website sales and brand building. In short, SEO is to find a way to improve the ranking of the website and get search traffic.

The goal of SEO is to get and improve the natural ranking of keywords, and its ultimate goal is to get search traffic, so as to increase profits. (SEO, ranking and traffic are only the purpose of website marketing and brand building. When SEO, user experience and business process conflict, they should be weighed.).

SEO includes in station optimization and out of station optimization. In station optimization refers to the adjustment of all websites that can be controlled by the webmaster, such as website structure and page HTML code. Out of station optimization refers to the construction of external links and the participation and interaction of industry communities (these activities are not carried out in the website itself).

SEO research content includes: keyword research, website architecture optimization, page optimization, external chain construction, effect monitoring and strategy correction, cheating and punishment, ranking factor list.

The advantages of SEO compared with other website promotion methods: high quality of search traffic, high cost performance, scalability, long-term effectiveness, improvement of website usability and user experience.
